“Mixture optimization”

The objectives of this WP are to optimize the composition and internal structure of poroelastic road surface material and to find adequate adhesive systems. As poroelastic road materials are relatively new and unexplored materials, there is no consensus yet on what should be regarded as functional laboratory test methods for this type of material. Thus the laboratory test plan should encompass a mixture of both standard tests of fundamental properties and accelerated tests simulating loads and climatic conditions experienced in a trafficked condition.
